had to phone at high cost because item was sent wrong & carrier would not take back returns but came back second time to take

Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this mix up. Our warehouse staff and suppliers are generally very accurate indeed so I must apologise that we have inadvertently sent you the incorrect item. We do take measures to ensure that mistakes of this nature are kept to a minimum but sadly human error does intervene.
I am also sorry that common sense seems to have failed our courier on this occasion, they have have let us down badly by not collecting the incorrect item the on the first request and I can appreciate how frustrating this was for you
