I am sorry that you found the website misleading. Full details regarding this short delay in despatching orders was clearly displayed on the home page of our website. I am sorry if you missed this. This annual process only delays order for a couple of days a year so I do hope that this very rare procedure does not deter you from ordering with Clifford James again.

| This is the worst customer service I have ever come across. I ordered an item to give to my mum as a birthday present and I paid extra for express delivery within 48 hours. On my mum's birthday, 4 days later, when the item had still not arrived, I sent an email querying its whereabouts and explaining that it had been intended as a birthday gift. On day 5, I received a response glibly stating that the delay was due to a stock take; no sincere apology or offer of a refund of the extra that I had paid for express delivery. Although the company did refund that full cost of postage once asked, they sulkily pointed out that doing this would delay my parcel even further. I will not order from this company again.
