2 of the 3 items ordered arrived within the time scale predicted & proved to be of the usual good Tyrwhitt quality, but the navy non-iron chinos did not arrive & I only learnt of their non-availability through inquiry. I was assured that I was not charged for this & if I ordered a substitute item the delivery charge would be waved, but I was surprised to see it still featuring in the on-line catalogue I accessed in an e-mail yesterday. This won't put me off Charles Tyrwhitt because perfection is aspirational & it is the follow up response that counts. Still, this was a bit sloppy.

I sincerely apologise for this! Instances of ordered items not being available are extremely rare indeed and we will use your feedback to help things improve for the future. You certainly should have been informed straight away when it became apparent that your full order couldn’t be completed and I apologise again that this didn’t occur – thank you for bringing this to our attention. The offer email you received was sent to a number of our customers and isn’t specific to this situation so please contact us directly to have the postage removed or refunded on your next order.
