As a result of my purchase, I wrote a polite but informative letter direct to Managing Director, Nick Webster, concerning what is in my view a serious marketing lapse. I have not as yet received a reply some 8 working days after I would have expected Mr Webster to have received my letter. Perhaps there has not yet been enough time to look at the issue I raised, or perhaps my letter has been ingnored. The outcome will affect my judgement as to whether or not Charles Tyrwhitt is a responsible and responsive trader.08-May-2012My mistake for calling the MD Mr Webster instead of Mr Wheeler, sorry. I had not as yet intended commenting, but you requested it. I gave a fair evaluation of the situation, which I was subsequently obliged to grade in order to ensure the comment was published, So you may want to look at how "free" comments are published in the future. I appreciate that your MD is a busy man, indeed I would hope so. He could however have a system that ensures someone in his team sends a holding reply, Obviously I cannot give a proper evaluation until I have a reply.
