It has a memory foam layer which really adds to the comfort level. I was a little concerned that this might make the bed a bit hot for sleeping - as memory foam doesn't breathe - however I don't notice this at all. The sides collapse a little bit when sitting on the bed - this happens with many pocket sprung mattresses on the lower end of the price scale. Despite that, this bed is very good value for money (cheapest I've seen it listed is on Bedz 'R' Us) and I would highly recommend it if you prefer beds of medium firmness.

However my daughter loves her new bed so we're very happy.

HIWAY delivery group appalling service.Advised delivery would occur between 10am and 1pm , still hadn't arrived by 5pm.On contacting highway they advised the delivery might not even be delivered that evening!

It has given her loads of extra space to play in her room and all her books are now accessible. She also loves playing underneath with all her dolls. It did all take ages to build but is well worth the work.

Service rating : we would of liked the bed to be delivered sooner but it was delivered directly by bedzrus and within the time slot i was given. it all arrived well packaged and undamaged. well done Bedz 'r' us!Product rating : this bed is really made well, the colour is nice and it is quite chunky and sturdy. though building it takes a while as there is a desk, drawers and shelving and a cupboard which all have to be individually built that all fit underneath the mid sleeper. my 10 year old boy loves this and as all parents out there will love, he actually keeps his room tidy as there is plentiful storage. i am really pleased and it isn't to high up to change the bed sheets and duvet cover. i don't really have anything bad to say about this product. look around on various sites before you buy as i noticed there was a drastic variation in prices.

Delighted with the speed and efficiency of the delivery. I did a lot of research before selecting both the product and the supplier and I am delighted with the end result = which worked at an overall cost of 25% less than I would have paid if I had purchased it from my local bedstore.

The flat pack bed is easy to assemble. The first stage of making the frame requires two people (for 5 minutes) and then one person can manage from there. Our 4 year old son loves the bed and the small climb to bed. The end cupboard and centre draws can come out and dont have to remain under the bed.
