Service rating : Worst customer service I have ever encountered as it is impossible to speak to any one on the phone. Even when I returned the item (which was damaged in 4 places, it took over a week for someone to phone me.Product rating : Even the replacement bed was damaged and very poorly constructed. I had to get someone to fix it for me as I could not bear going through the awful customer service again. Each time I had to waste a whole day 8am-6pm. When I recently placed an order with Argos online, I was able to obtain a 3 hour slot- much preferable

Delivery was poor in the sense of that the delivery staff brought up the sofa up until the first floor and left it there, without any prior notification that they are not allowed to carry the weight more than one floor. In the end I took it upstairs myself and it wasn't easy, so now I can really be called a women with balls.

Service rating : The item was damaged on delivery and when we tried to contact the company, we only managed to speak to a lady in the "sales" department, who was worse than useless. We then made four phone calls to the aftersales department, of which none actually connected us to a person (and one had us on hold for 22 minutes on an 0845 number) We had already ordered a replacement, as this was a gift and eventually managed to return the damaged item using numerous emails. We have not received notification of goods received, nor any refund, although we have a signed receipt from their courier of the item being collected on 15th April 2013. A measure of a good company is how they deal with issues and based on our experience, this company should be avoided at all costsProduct rating : The item was poorly assembled and a moderately competent DIY'er could have done a better job. One was visibly damaged on arrival. A replacement was ordered as this was a gift and on further investigation, the items that were kept, have numerous areas of minor damage and as we have yet to receive a refund on the returned item after nearly a month, we will be trying to fix the issues ourselves10-May-2013After leaving the poor feed back I was contacted by Bedstore. My refund is now being processed and although invited to update my rating, I am leaving it unchanged. No offer of compensation was asked for as I wanted to see how they would try to make amends for the poor service. Unsurprisingly, none was offered.
