Unfortunately hinge distance on Twyford was not standard and suite was made pre 1990. The hinges supplied were metal to allowed me to grind them down to fit. Hinges were solid and very good quality.

However, it is constructed with a hard plastic base and I found this design to be superior. The only problem I had is that the spindle was slightly higher than the original which made the seat slope from back to front. Rather expensive for what you get but otherwise a good product.
