Service rating : I'm confused. When selecting flowers off your website, it shows different types of arrangements with certain flowers and colours etc. When I select an arrangement that I want to give, and pay a lot of money for it, I would have thought that the recipient got that particular arrangement/flower combination and colours. (I understand if a flower is not in season and other ones have to be substituted), but in this case, roses and lillies were both available as I've seen them in the florists and shops. Do you pass on to the florist the type of arrangement and flowers that's been selected by the sender from your website, (in this instance, roses and lillies) so they know what to make? The arrangement given had no lillies in it whatsoever, and lots of other types of flowers, which was not in the arrangement I selected. This is not the first time that I have selected a particular arrangement off your website and the recipient has received something different.
Product: The florist was very good at keeping me informed on the questions I had asked about the delivery day and time. I had asked her to make it colourful, which she did.

Service rating : Thanks for organising the flowers for my sister's birthday.
If I had one comment it would be that I had thought that the flowers I chose would be represented as such in those delivered. It was more the colour as I had specifically chosen the red ones as these are the colours my sister loves, and they would go with the colours in her dining room. In hindsight I should have probably clarified that when I ordered.
As it was they were beautiful flowers and she sent me a photo, and she was very happy with them, despite the primary colour being orange, with purple irises. It. Might be worth advising they may not be the colour represented in the photos, or asking about colour preference. All said and done though, as previously, the service was excellent and I will use you again.

I bought the Fall Bouquet as advertised online. I was particularly taken by the autumn lillies and leaves as illustrated. I thought the bouquet I received looked like a generic product which bore little resemblance to the illustration - certainly not as large as illustrated - despite buying the Deluxe option. There was no gift bag as specified, just bare stems. When asked about a suitable container, the shop provided a wine carton stuffed with newspaper. Consequently for me an overpriced and not impressive gift as planned.

I also requested that I collect the bouquet from the shop I ordered through (Dawnacres) and had difficulty communicating this - the website doesn't provide that option, and despite specifying that in the Special requests box, it required an exchange of emails to get the point across.

I will not be using this service, nor the associated florist again.

I was dissapointed to see the photo that my friend sent me. Firstly I didn't feel like the bunch was a $100 bunch of flowers. It appeared to be the same size as the small bunch that was advertised on the site when I had paid for an extra large bunch for $100. The initial bunch contained 6 big beautiful pink roses and yet the florist chose tiny pink roses no bigger than the size of your thumb. The initial photo had greenery that involved some long spiky reeds and some other greenery that is very beautiful. I understand that not always the same flowers are available but I just don't think it looked like a $100 bunch of flowers and it didn't look better and more flowers than the photo provided which is what would you assume if you pay extra to have the extra large bunch rather than the standard. I ordered a Gorgeous Floral Arrangement for my Mum who lives NZ & I live in Perth,Western Australia.
She had Neurosurgery done in Waikato Hospital.I placed my order late@night on the 18th June 2018 got an early morning email 19th June informing me my Flowers had been Delivered the same time I was talking 2 my Mum on the Phone @ 06:30am Perth,Time the Receptionist walked in with my Floral Arrangement. My Mum's reaction "Speechless"
It put the biggest smile on her face with tears of joy..

Service rating : Amazing service. I have no hesitation in recommending Direct2Florist NZ Unfortunately the flowers I requested were unavailable. Gary had tried my phone number and email with no success thanks to time differences. By the time I got the message all florists had completed their deliveries for the day. BUT...
I contacted Gary, and he worked his magic, and alternate flowers were delivered!! He totally saved the day!
I recommend writing in the comments section that you are happy for alternate flowers to be sent, otherwise their hands are tied if they don't have those particular flowers and can't contact you for further instructions.
Product: Amazing, Incredible, Fantastic.
This florist went well and truly above and beyond.
She (sorry if you are a man) opened her shop up after hours and personally delivered the flowers so they got to my mother on her 80th Birthday.
The flowers were beautiful. Thank you very very much.

Service rating : I was a bit iffy at first as I have seen an article on Stuff recently about Florists taking orders and not delivering.
The front page of the website looks like a mass produced knock off site (it does not look very professional, too much small print gets the alarm bells ringing). And it is exactly the same for other countries, which kinda looks like a scam site.
However, I liked the fact that it does directly to a local store and you know exactly who you are dealing with and it is nice and easy to navigate once you in into your chosen country/town.
The pricing structure is good to as you can see the breakdown of costs
Product: The flowers were fantastic.
But the customer service even more so. They rung to get additional information as the flowers were going to a work space. By the time I called back they had all the information they needed.
I would definitely recommend these guys.

Service rating : I did not want to give you poor but I would say it was between poor and good - average. The photos of the flowers online differ from what you receive. For someone who is not too computer literate it is very hard to complete all the details, choose the flowers you think the person will most like who you are sending it to and then when it arrives it does not match the picture online. A lot of work to place an order without speaking to a person and requesting exactly what you want and the price you pay by going through a middle man, too me, give me person to person anyday.
Product: The flowers did not match the picture online. There were 2 odd lillies stuck in looking like a last minute thing as it was not attached with the other flowers with a tie. The added flowers looked days old and spoilt the flower arrangement. The color online was very deep pink and the arrangement that arrived was a very light pink. I paid more for the flowers than I would have liked to but as I could not talk person to person I had to do it online, and have a middle man take his cut of the order. Give me customer service anyday. The flowers that arrived were pretty but not what I was expecting for the person I sent them too... It was disappointing for me the person who was paying for it but for the person that received it of course thought it was lovely.

Service rating : Site is easy to navigate and clean. But communication was a big problem. I was ordering flowers from the US for someone in New Zealand. The order was accepted and the flowers were listed as out for delivery, but the flowers didn't come when expected and the call to the store gave an answering machine saying that it was closed for the holidays and wouldn't reopen for weeks!
The contact numbers for Direct2Florist were in the UK, were not available at that time, and probably wouldn't have been helpful even if they were, because of the geographic separation.
Product: The delivery eventually went off well, but later than expected and so it ruined the surprise.
Communication was a big problem. I was ordering flowers from the US for someone in New Zealand. The order was accepted and the flowers were listed as out for delivery, but the flowers didn't come when expected and a call to the store (by the intended recipient) gave an automated answer that it was closed for the holidays and wouldn't reopen for weeks! This resulted in a lot of confusion and discussion about cancelling the gift outright.

Service rating : The process was quick and painless, I found it easy to set things up and to pay for the two bouquets of flowers without hassle which was really neat being I'd never used this service before.

However, I did not appreciate picking my flowers to be delivered in the morning only to discover there was no way that could be done as the florists did not deliver to the area I sent them to (instead they got couriered after 4pm). I would have appreciated knowing that wasn't possible. I did read the fine print, and realise that there would have been the possibility of errors - that was the one down fall.
Product: Having dealt with this florist over the years I found the face to face contact in the shop fantastic, having now ordered flowers online I wasn't happy to discover one bouquets got lost and ended up at the wrong address (the person they were for ended up doing the investigation work to find them!). Both bouquets were supposed to be delivered to one address and were dropped at a completely different one by the courier, I rang the florists to find out where my flowers were - only to find that my flowers wouldn't be delivered until after 4pm via courier - no where in the fine print did it state this would happen. It did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I will use this service again, and hope that I have a more positive outcome next time.

Service rating : There was a bunch of flowers that I wanted to send my Mother for Mothers Day but unfortunately they weren't able to come through with the exact style I wanted. However they suggested the 'florists choice'. I felt a bit upset as Inonly wanted the best for my Mum since I couldn't be with her and all I can say is Wow! They definitely came through with a beautiful bunch of flowers! I was soo happy and my Mum absolutely loved them and was surprised. So thank you soo much!! Also I had good communication with Garry who helped me with my enquiry.

Service rating : Great service - Flowers delivered true to pics on site - bit disappointed with the chocolates - pic on site showed special looking handmade chocs - but a box of Roses chocolates were delivered with the flowers - not quite what was expected.. & would have gone back to the cupcakes which have proven a hit in the past rather than Roses chocolates. And I had purchased from 'Ivy Flower Art' - but I note it was Woodlea Floral Studio who fulfilled the order - I'm sure there is a reason for this, just a bit confusing for the customer!

Service rating : Thank you so much i sent flowers chocolates and a teddy bear to my daughter in NZ and she was so shocked surprised amazed at how big and beautiful the flowers chocolates and teddy bear was she LOVED it she didn't want to unwrap any of it she sat and stared at it for over an hour because she just didnt want to take it apart she posted it on her Facebook Instagram & Snapchat so well done amazing job definitely will buy again 110% happy customers and fast delivery great customer service most of all BEAUTIFUL PRODUCTS.

They arrived on the day while she was out so her workmates put them in her office. She told me when she returned & actually saw the beautiful bouquet on her desk she could smell their amazing perfume in the hallway.
When I completed the order form I supplied my mobile number to receive a photo of the flowers and I was disappointed this didn't happen, otherwise my rating would have been excellent.

Service rating : Slight problem with delivery, the recipient was home but did not hear the delivery which was left at the front door. So when we called recipient to ask about flowers, she thought they had not been delivered as she had not heard a courier or a knock on her door. We then called Direct2 to work out what had happened and had very helpful follow up service from you. As it happened the flowers were safely on the doorstep, but it seemed like they had been left there silently and rather mysteriously.
Product: Arrangement supplied was reportedly beautiful. Recipient very pleased, as were we.

Service rating : Had a few teething problems trying to get my email address and home address to tally up it kept wanting to give my address as woodlands cornwall for some reason and it took a few attempts to get it to succeed. Once I had got the order done it came up with 'the website you are trying use is not responding' so I had to go back and start all over again presumably because it had taken too long to go through it, I don't really know, but it took it the second time ok and I will use the site again.
Product: My sister was delighted with her flowers and said they were beautiful. I will definitely use them again!

Service rating : The flowers & chocolates were superb as was the general experience, however, I specifically requested that if no one was home to leave them on the table to the right of the front door obscured from the road. My request was completely ignored, they were left in front of the door in full sight of anyone walking up the road, the house is quite close to the road and these could easily have been stolen.
"Delivery instructions are given for a reason!!!"

Service rating : Was a little concerned after placing the order because the email receipt didn't match the address of the site that I ordered from and it didnt have a .co.nz extension (direct2florist.com) so initially I was very worried that I had used a scam website and was worried I would never see my money again -- had ordered online while tired, had no idea how I would know if Nana got the flowers. Really appreciated the email that said the flowers had been delivered

Your delivery was great and just in time for the Christmas Holidays. Although the centerpiece was not exactly as what was shown in your advertisement, it was still very nice. She was pleasantly surprised and sent us a picture of the centerpiece which in the beginning we were disappointed but she loved it. That's all that mattered to us. Please let the ordering customer know in advance that you needed to change the look because it was possible you did not have something in stock. Still pleased and would consider ordering in the future. Thank you.

Service rating : I love having the ability to deal with florists direct and that customer feedback is available too. I have used Direct2florist for flowers in Ireland and now locally. I was assured about using this service as a Florist I had used before locally Amy's was a member and I knew their work is fantastic, so I was assured they would only belong to a credible group. I wish all florists sent photos of the boutique delivered like Amy's does
Product: I requested a very vibrant cheerful bouquet to cheer up a friend, and my friend sent me a photo of the flowers and they were perfectly to my request.

Service rating : We found the website to be a little confusing and not overly user friendly. However we did persevere and got there in the end. One suggestion would be that when entering a date the country is selected automatically. We filled in all the info and were at the end of the process and realised that Australia was selected rather than New Zealand, even though we'd entered Auckland and the postcode, so we had to redo the entire process.
Product: We received a notice that the flowers were delivered, however we haven't heard from the recipient. We're assuming they loved them! Thanks for the prompt service.

Service rating : Living in the UK I wanted to send flowers home to NZ. The online ordering system was simple and easy to follow and I was able to select flowers from a good range. While I would have liked some kind of notification that my flowers had been delivered, I do understand that time differences can make this difficult and the team at Direct2Florist replied to my query quickly. Flowers were delivered in good time and were beautiful!

Service rating : Couldn't be happier with the fantastic service! I ordered gerberas for my cousins in memory of my Aunty as she was a bright, bubbly person. Garry in Christchurch rang my home in Byron Bay Australia to appologise because they had run out of gerberas! and asked was it ok to use another colourful substitute.... Of course it was and the bunch they received was absolutely perfect. My cousin sent me a photo she was so pleased.

Service rating : I was impressed with the selection of bouquets and how the client had the opportunity to select which bouquets they would like. The only little negative I have is I didn't get a email or some notice that they had been delivered. I know they would have but since I ordered them from Riversdale and they were to be delivered to Oamaru for bereavement. With the family having heaps to deal with I just didn't wish to phone them.
Product: I enjoyed having the great selection to choose from.
