Feefo

Showing the Feefo logo

These instructions will help you if you want simply to install our logo with a link to your reviews on our site. If you'd like to use the Javascript with 'popup' reviews, which has a highly automated installation process, please look at that possibility. These instructions assume some knowledge of HTML

You can choose which logo you want to see from here. Some logos show product or service rating only, others show both.

Or, if you want to make your own logo, you can download an editable PDF file (as used in Adobe Illustrator) from here. When you've created a suitable logo send it to us. As long as it still represents our brand, we'll be happy to add it to the list of allowable logos.

The required link is:

<a href="http://www.feefo.com/feefo/viewvendor.jsp?logon=LOGON onclick="window.open(this.href,'Feefo';,'width=800,height=600,scrollbars,resizable');return false;"><img alt="Feefo logo" border="0"  src="http[s]://www.feefo.com/feefo/feefologo.jsp?logon=LOGON&template=CHOSENTEMPLATE title=";See what our customers say about us"><a>

You must make the following amendments:

1) Replace LOGON with your logon. e.g. www.examplesupplier.com

If the logon is a 'division'
(e.g. www.examplesupplier.com/computers_&_Software/PC_Desktops.com)
then the '/' dividers must be replaced with '-'
(e.g. www.examplesupplier.com-computers_&_software-PC_Desktops.com)

2) Insert the name of a suitable template chosen from here

3) Replace `http[s]://` with either `http://` or `https://` according to whether your page is secure.

Note the the image will not display until you have at least one feedback.

Note also that the use of 'onClick' is designed to ensure that, when users close the Feefo window, the browser returns smoothly to your site

Showing the Feefo logo for individual products

You can show a separate logo on each product page that will indicate the approval rating for that range of products - provided that you have specified the order line references consistently. To do so, you add extra information to the image source, and the link:

<img alt="Feefo logo" border="0"  src="http[s]://www.feefo.com/feefo/feefologo.jsp?logon=LOGON&template=CHOSENTEMPLATE&vendorref=PRODUCTCODE><a>

where PRODUCTCODE = the required product line item, which may contain wildcards e.g. L11*

If you use this form, your 'href' link should read:

href="http://www.feefo.com/feefo/viewvendor.jsp?logon=LOGON&vendorref=PRODUCTCODE&mode=Product&name=PRODUCTNAME
 &description=PRODUCTDESCRIPTION&imageurl=IMAGEURL"

where PRODUCTNAME, PRODUCTDESCRIPTION,IMAGEURL are optional and

PRODUCTNAME is your product name e.g. 'Ford Mondeo'

PRODUCTDESCRIPTION is a description of up to 500 letters e.g. 'A mid-sized family saloon that holds you and ....'

IMAGEURL points to an image on your site, of maximum width 180 pixels and maximum height 180 pixels.

Behaviour when there are no reviews

The default when there are no reviews is to show a blank space the same shape and size as the logo.   This can be overridden by

&smallonzero=true                               shows a single pixel

&servicedefault=[SERVICELOGO]   will show the service rating using the different logo

&forceimage=true                                 displays the usual logo with no rating

some logos have a specific version for no reviews - ('no reviews yet available') .  Ask us which ones.

Supressing low ratings

If there are a very small number or reviews, we will suppress low ratings by not showing the logo.  You can specify the minimum ratings you wish to see

&minimumproductrating=[NUMBER]

&minimumservicerating=[NUMBER]

(e.g.  minimumservicerating=80)

The default for service is 70% and product 0%
