We now have five different ways by which you can tell us about your sales. These are
This applies only to businesses with a very limited number of sales, or to those who want to test the system. You can only enter orders with one 'product'.
To manually enter an order, select 'Upload Sales/Enter sales.
You need to prepare a file based on the sample that you can find here. A full definition of each field can be found here.
To upload, select 'Upload Sales' and choose your file. The upload routine will detect any errors and show you the upload before you make the decision to save the file
Feedback emails may be sent immediately you save your upload (depending on the parameters you have given us to send feedback requests).
Your FTP details can be found on 'Edit Details/Advanced Choices. In particular you should set your own password here. The format of the file should be the same as for 'Upload a file'. Success or error messages will be sent to the email address you specify in 'Advanced choices'.
You can test the FTP by sending a small unrelated file to the FTP address, and you should receive an appropriate error message.
For some given systems, we have routies that will download data on a regular basis. A list of these are below. If your platform is one of those listed, you can use this method. Alternatively, you can prepare an XML file, or a text file in the same format as aboe, and ask us to poll your server, either from a URL, or as FTP transfer, and we shall agree to a schedule.
