July 2008: BVG-Airflo, listed in the top 100 entrepreneurial UK companies in 2008, has taken up the Feefo challenge to online retailers – Feefo is the UK’s only independent forum for online customer service feedback.
BVG-Airflo signed up for a Feefo trial on their Fishtec website. Fishtec is the largest fishing website in Europe for both fly and coarse fishing. Since May they have had a positive service rating from 96% of their customers. Plans are now well advanced to add the service to their other brands: Tight Lines, Total Fishing Gear and Clifford James.

Feefo (Feedback Forum) is the simplest platform for customers to praise or criticise web-based suppliers. Suppliers who sign up to the forum commit to sending details of all their sales to Feefo. Each sale generates an email to the consumer requesting feedback. Customers are able to rate products and the quality of service received – good or bad. Suppliers have the chance to reply immediately and publicly, making it possible for them to thank customers or rectify dissatisfaction directly. The feedback is then displayed for all to see – the ultimate way to show how they appreciate praise or deal with complaints!
