We had lunch on two consecutive Saturdays. On the first Saturday some friends had dined the evening before and had pre-paid for a glass of wine each for us. It was quite a performance to 'find' the credit for the drinks and left us feeling a little uncomfortable. Finally, after taking seats at our table, the original Receptionist who we asked, arrived to tell us that she had, in fact, found a £13+ credit. We felt this could have been handled more efficiently. When we were redeeming the credit, we weren't shown a wine list with glasses of wine (previously available) and were brought two medium glasses of wine. On our second visit the following Saturday, my husband bought a medium glass of wine and when we went to pay it was £4.99, therefore we were not given full value for our friends credit the week before. All in all a poor show and the staff could have made things much clearer as to what we were entitled to.
