Service rating : I had to exchange the Brittany quilt as there was a snag in the sewing. The sales assistant in the Birmingham Grand Central store brought us a relacement but seemed reticent to acknowledge a fault in this quilt, which comprised of the appearance of discoloration either from dye or from show through of the wadding. With reluctance she brought us a third quilt which had more patches of discoloration.
She offered no apology for the fault or for our inconvenience at having to exchange the quilt and her non verbal communication was that she was annoyed that we had noticed these faults.
We decided to take the second quilt as the fault was least noticeable.
The manager/supervisor who then processed the exchange was much more friendly and offered the service I would expect from the White Company.Product: Lovely quilt but came with a fault.
The overall service was good however I did have a problem with the delivery. I had received notification that my package had been delivered when it hadn't been. I was at home all day, no note through the door to say they tried to deliver it while I was at home, When I contacted the White Company they advised the delivery company had noted it had been left in a children's playhouse. I had to search through a neighbours garden to find this. This was not left near my property. Prior to this occasion, I had never experienced any issues with deliveries from your company.
Service rating : After unexpectedly finding the store in Clarke's village closed, I was unable to return a gift for my baby that was too small. I rang the customer service team and was delighted with the service I received. I was offered a few options but ultimately very happy that I was able to change my gift without having to travel miles with a newborn.Product: Amazing quality and design
White company itself was excellent but collection point pick up service was apauling - I received a text and e-mail to say goods had arrived at collection place, but when I went to collect them I was told they were not there and had not been delivered there. 3 more unsuccessful trips later I phoned White Company who rectified the situation immediately by phoning the collection point and the goods WERE at the collection place
Service rating : I can only rate service as good rather than excellent. The products are always excellent and the communication is very good but i have for this purchase and my last purchase been unlucky in that there has been a problem in the stock room with locating items or such problems and items have taken a long time to arrive.Product: Winter tealights and oils, beautiful fragrance as always.
Really disappointed to find the scarf had come down from £65.00 to £49.00. I look and shop with yourselves a lot. This seems a little unfair to people who have purchased this item at the £65.00. I also found in the shop that the price tag had not been changed but a new sticker placed over the top, still showing the old price underneath. Come on this is really taking the Michael!!! This is not the first time I have seen this happen.
Service rating : The staff at The White Company are always very helpful without being pushy! They are happy to search for sizes if they aren't on the shop floor. They are knowledgeable about the different thread count of bedlinen and have good laundry tips and general care info.Product: I have bought them before and love them.

Only complaint delivery driver left the parcel outside my front door in a non secure area and it could have been taken by someone before we got home. On the card the driver wrote "left in secure porch" which was untrue.Product: Bought for Christmas so no feedback yet.
Everything was packaged well and communication was good.
I would say that Hermes aren't very flexible when I asked to deliver later due to being away, they said they couldn't so I had to risk leaving the package outside. Everything arrived at different times, which isn't a huge issue, but would be better if it all arrived together.
Could have given 'excellent' rating were it not for the failure of DPD to deliver my order on the day (Saturday) which I had selected (and paid for). Moreover, the parcel arrived without any advance notice from the delivery company which meant the parcel was left in my porch for several days as I was working away from home.
Service rating : Nothing to complain about really , the box the goods arrived in was a little bit battered , but that could have happened in transit . Products inside OK , perhaps the box need to be a bit stronger , just a thought .Product: Beautiful scarf,brought for a present , but may keep it myself .

Service rating : The website was not at all clear how you can place an order with a delivery address that is different to the billing address. I hope you can improve on this. Your delivery company (Hermes I think) left the package outside on top of the bin (without any authorisation to do so, or indication that they had done so). when I got home and saw it on the bin, it had started raining and hence the packaging was a bit soggy. thankfully the cardigan wasn't damaged but a poor impression of the delivery service.
There was a delay in an item being delivered, The White Company informed me and keep me up to do with what was happening. The White company addressed the issues before I was even aware they existed and resolved with no involved or chasing from myself. Exceptional customer service!!!!
Service rating : I ordered the size 8 but it was too big so I took it to my nearest store, in Winchester where they swapped it for the size 8. Very helpful and the shop smelled delicious as always!Product: I bought the cable jumper online in a size 8. It comes up larger and squarer than I thought so I exchanged it in my nearest store for the size 6. It is a truly beautiful jumper, not as thin as it appears in the photos, but not at all bulky. The colour is more a pale silvery grey than the almost white it appears in the photos, but it is a pretty colour. The neckline is very flattering and I am delighted with the jumper and I also got a huge discount with my Priveledge Card! I would recommend this jumper, it is expensive, but it looks and feels very expensive!
Service rating : you should check all stock to see if it is available, on a daily basis. as I ordered an item which was clearly out of stock, and the only thing you could offer was free delivery.Product: I like it, but the price is rather expensive, why I really don't know, I have to save up for a while to order things from the white company, if they were cheaper I would order a lot more
The products are lovely although I'm disappointed with the delivery provided by HERMES who just threw my FRAGILE box of goods over my garden fence when I wasn't home to accept the package - I was away on holiday and it could have all been damaged being left out in the rain
I’m glad I’ve been asked for my feedback because I felt the postage price steep enough to justify a faster delivery speed. It was days and days before I got my products and actually even though I love the white company I would think twice about purchasing this way again. I’m sorry but it’s true.

Used this company for a long time successfully. Unfortunately this time only 1 of the two items were in the box delivered. The agent in the response centre was very helpful and apologetic whilst sorting out delivering the missing item when new stocks arrived.
